I came across the LTEWatch [H] software today and downloaded and ran it. It looks very useful but the LTE band frequencies are not applicable to Australia, so it is not possible to test signal strength for individual bands here using the software. Could anyone comment on whether it would be possible to make an Australian version of the tool? Any help would be much appreciated.

This is the right Thread for it .For watching Signal LTEWatch-H is the best tool.
Only Band setting is different now . For Band fixing you should read this Thread page 15 Post 143.
    ---------------------------------------------------------
Its only possible to fix other Band with API direkt writing
I use toolbox to change parameters . Config File from Valexis toolbox you have to expand with

    <api>
    <apiurl>/api/net/net-mode</apiurl>
    <postable>1</postable>
    </api>

Please Post your <LTEBand>xxxxxxxx</LTEBand> here. I want to know your Bands in Australia !
and after this you can fix right band set in xxxxxxxx with api writer in this tool.
    ------------------------------------------------------

For other countrys its a good idee to open Browser 192.168.8.1 go in Menü with password
open second page 192.168.8.1/api/net/net-mode [STRG+U] look <LTEBand>xxxxxxxx</LTEBand> before starting Tool !

    Australia
Is this your HEX digit 8000045 ? Automatic mode so
    0000 1000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0100 0101
    I think your bands are
    Band28,Band7,Band3,Band1

Hi KOSH. Thanks for the reply. I was actually wanting to measure signal parameters for the different frequencies at this stage, rather than changing parameters (maybe I still need to change them first though?). I will have a play with the toolbox as well though.

    The Australian LTE frequencies are:
    Band 1 = 2100MHz (0000000000000001) (used by Telstra, Optus refarmed 3G spectrum)
Band 3 = 1800MHz (0000000000000004) (used by Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, ex 2G spectrum)
    Band 5 = 850MHz (0000000000000010) (used by Vodafone, refarmed 3G spectrum)
    Band 7 = 2600MHz (0000000000000040) (used by Telstra, Optus)
    Band 8 = 900MHz (0000000000000080) (used by Telstra, refarmed 2G spectrum)
Band 28 = 700MHz (0000000008000000) (used by Telstra, Optus, ex Analogue TV spectrum)
    Band 40 = 2300MHz (0000008000000000) (used by Optus)

    Set it into /api/net/net-mode

    only Band 1 = <LTEBand>1</LTEBand>
    only Band 3 = <LTEBand>4</LTEBand>
    only Band 5 = <LTEBand>10</LTEBand>
    only Band 7 = <LTEBand>40</LTEBand>
    only Band 8 = <LTEBand>80</LTEBand>
    only Band 28 = <LTEBand>8000000</LTEBand>
    only Band 40 = <LTEBand>8000000000</LTEBand>
    Automatic Band = <LTEBand>80080000D5</LTEBand>
    ----------------------------------
    For LTE Advanced HEXBand+HEXBand
    ------------------------------------------
Set it with API writer in Toolbox close it and watch signal in LTEwatch

Ask @olox and @moderator if he can change this for you or to make an Australia LTEwatch .
In Future you can help us with Sierra Modules witch was implemented in our new Fritz Box 6820 :)
